George Soule - Mayflower passenger and settler at Duxbury
Family connection - 8th great-grandfather of Edward Elihu Hazen, Jr.
George Soule, born in England sometime after 1595, came to Plymouth on the Mayflower as an indentured servant to Edward Winslow. He married Mary Buckett (sometimes spelled Beckett) who came over on the ship "Anne" in 1623. They had nine children:

By 1627, George began acquiring land on Powder Point in what is now known as Duxbury. By 1638 he and his family settled in Duxbury. He served as Deputy for Duxbury to Plymouth Colony General Court (legislature) ten times. He served on at least six juries. He was also a member of numerous committees, including land grant and boundary committees.
George's wife Mary died in 1672. George died sometime between Sept. 1677 and January 1679.
They are buried in Standish Burial Ground in Duxbury. No original headstone exists, but a memorial stone was placed in the 1930s.

George Soule is in the middle of the blue section of the top chart, second ring from the outside. Seth Fuller, the center person of the top chart, is in the second ring from the outside, green section of the bottom fan chart.
