Humphrey Barrett Jr. Gravestone in South Burying Place, Concord
Humphrey Barrett Jr. was born in England in 1630. He immigrated to Concord Massachusetts with his parents and brothers in 1640.
In 1661, he married Elizabeth Paine. She died on December 21, 1674. They had at least one child.

In 1675, he married Mary Potter. They had at least two children:
Joseph Humphrey b. 1679 d. 1763
Benjamin b. 1681 d. 1728
Humphrey was a Deacon of the church in Concord, and was named Ensign of the Train Band (town militia) in 1689. He was admitted as Freeman of the town of Concord in May 1682. He was deputy to General Court (legislature of the colony) in 1691.
Humphry's wife Mary died on November 17, 1713. Humphrey died on January 3, 1715. They were buried at the South Burying Place in Concord.
