Note: There are no surviving birth records for this time period - either they did not keep any or they were destroyed. So, the birth years above are estimates by professional genealogists.
Robert continued adding to his land holdings throughout his life. His holdings included lots near the Eel River, Duxborrow, Punckateesett (now Little Compton, Rhode Island), as well as in Plymouth. He gave some of his land holdings to his sons prior to his death.
Town records indicate Robert took apprentices - one for 9 years beginning December 1635, another in 1638 for 4 years.
Robert was called into court on May 1, 1660 in Plymouth to answer the charge of speaking contemptuously of the singing of psalms. He was convicted, but there's no record of penalty or punishment.
Robert Bartlett died sometime between the date of his will, September 19, 1676, and October 29, 1676, the date of probate. It was simple - he gave everything to his wife absolutely, and stated she could give it to their children if and how she wished. His estate was valued at £170, including 2 dwellinghouses, a barn, uplands and meadows.
Mary Warren Bartlett, his wife, died in 1683. Although it is likely they are buried in the Plymouth Burying Ground, no markers exist and no gravesite is recorded.
